iPhone and iPad through TestFlight
- ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
- Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
- New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
- TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
- Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.
Highlights
- Onboarding now begins as a conversation with Theo and smoothly hands off to your chosen Chief of Staff provider.
- Threads are automatically titled from their first exchange, making conversations easier to find.
- A new feedback portal makes it easier to share ideas and report issues.
Desktop
- Settings now use a cleaner, flatter layout with clearer navigation, improved typography, and simpler Profile, Updates, Secrets, Brain, and Integrations views.
- Provider approval requests now appear directly in the conversation so you can review and respond without leaving the thread.
- Provider turns stream faster, preserve your selected provider during handoff, and handle provider updates more reliably.
- Email previews, delivery, reconnecting, and composer responsiveness have been improved.
Companion Sync
- Sphere collaboration is easier to inspect and can now be stopped or unshared when access is no longer needed.
- Cross-device conversations stream more smoothly and preserve clearer status and message context.
- Concurrent desktop and command-line activity is protected against lost or stale changes.
Reliability
- Agent capabilities and conversation turns are more resilient when setup needs repair or authorization.
- Packaged builds now connect to the correct server by default.
- Integration identities remain attached to the agent that owns them, reducing stale or misleading account access.
Updating
- Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
