iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Mobile companion gains broader parity for threads, settings, sources, memories, workflows, secrets, and operating status.
  • Chat streaming and answer reveal feel smoother across desktop and mobile, with fewer focus, activation, and handoff glitches.
  • Model, profile, Chief of Staff, release, and workspace settings are easier to review and adjust from more places.

Desktop

  • Thread organization, sphere controls, ToDo flows, and composer controls are more polished for day-to-day work.
  • Onboarding, provider setup, API key handling, and local model fallback behavior are more reliable.
  • Settings now cover more of the durable workspace, workflow, connector, secret, release, and Chief of Staff controls.

Mobile Companion

  • New mobile screens expose memory, source, workflow, task route, release, appearance, profile, connector, and secret settings.
  • Mobile can create and manage threads, rename and search them, review answer activity, and sync more workspace state from desktop.
  • Pairing, relay delivery, model selection, and live activity handling are more stable during companion use.

Reliability

  • Beta release notes, download pages, update checks, and packaged update status are now available through the public release flow.
  • Desktop packaging, signing, release upload, and update-channel handling are more robust for beta builds.
  • Chat rendering, markdown spacing, sidebar behavior, settings scrolling, and thread activation have been tightened.
