iPhone and iPad through TestFlight
- ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
- Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
- New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
- TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
- Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.
Highlights
- Pair the mobile companion with the desktop app to keep up with chats, settings, operating status, and release information from your phone.
- Chat threads now stay anchored more consistently while answers stream, hand off, and finish.
- Spheres are easier to manage, with improved organization for threads, Brain items, workflows, and settings.
Desktop
- New settings surfaces make it easier to manage profiles, model routing, secrets, workflow setup, appearance, release options, and connected services.
- Thread creation, activation, renaming, search, sidebar navigation, and running-answer controls have been polished for daily use.
- Workbench, Brain, Today, operating records, connectors, workflows, trust, and setup screens have been reorganized into a more complete beta desktop experience.
Mobile Companion
- The iOS companion can now pair with desktop, sync activity, open threads, start new ToDo threads, search threads, rename threads, and manage thread actions.
- Mobile settings now cover profile, appearance, chat defaults, models, releases, operating status, Brain memories, sources, workflows, secrets, connectors, and sphere settings.
- Mobile chat output, streamed answer reveal, detail rows, sidebars, and live activity displays have been refined for clearer reading and control.
Reliability
- Update checks, release notes links, public release pages, and beta download handling are now part of the release experience.
- Packaged desktop releases are more resilient around signing, notarization, upload resume, stale build outputs, and immutable release artifacts.
- Provider setup and model handling are more robust across local models, Claude, OpenAI, Grok, OpenCode, and related agent chat flows.
Updating
- Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
