iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Use one Feed for ToDos, FYIs, and Fun, with a Done list and controls to reopen or remove ToDos.
  • View interactive HTML artifacts inside conversations and save copies to a Sphere.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active agent run.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable switcher and distinguish channels, threads, and direct messages in the sidebar.
  • Open shared Spheres in General and start new threads in the current Sphere.
  • Keep your place and drafts when moving through Settings, with clearer layouts in narrow windows.
  • Personalize Spheres with colors and animated backgrounds.

Collaboration

  • Invite people by typed email and see clearer invitation status and recovery options.
  • Start contextual direct messages with shared Sphere members, including members with read-only access.
  • See clearer conversation audiences, sharing status, and item permissions.
  • Access shared Spheres more reliably across your computers, including after rejoining.

Reliability

  • Sphere posts save locally before cloud checks, helping preserve messages when sharing is delayed.
  • Improved recovery keeps drafts, private agent history, and delivery outcomes through restarts and sync interruptions.
  • Run timelines show meaningful steps with steadier progress and clearer failure feedback.
  • Reduced background sync work and memory use help keep the desktop responsive.

Updating

  • Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
  • Interrupted update downloads can recover on retry, with clearer installation failure feedback.
