iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.
  • Manage ToDos, FYIs, and Fun in one Feed, with a Done list and options to reopen or remove ToDos.
  • View interactive HTML artifacts inline and expand them without leaving the thread.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable switcher and clearer sections for channels, threads, and direct messages.
  • Open shared Spheres in General and start new threads in the current Sphere.
  • See clearer audience labels, invitation status, and private conversation cues.
  • Navigate Settings and dialogs more smoothly with improved keyboard focus and narrow-window layouts.

Reliability

  • Sphere posts save locally before cloud checks, with clearer feedback when sharing is paused or delivery fails.
  • Shared Spheres recover more reliably across computers, invitations, and membership changes.
  • Private agent conversations and history are better preserved across restarts and sync.
  • Lower background memory use and improved recovery reduce freezes and crashes during sync.

Updating

  • Interrupted update downloads can finish on retry, and failed installs retain recovery options after relaunch.
  • Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
  • Download the latest macOS installer
