iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Shared conversations group consecutive messages by author, link @mentions, and show who reacted.
  • Stage shared attachments until Send, add more files while uploads continue, and save received files with a download action.
  • Choose Queue or Steer when sending a message during an active run.
  • View HTML artifacts inline and reopen their latest revision.

Desktop

  • Find Spheres with a searchable switcher and navigate clearer Channels, Threads, and direct message lists.
  • Keep new threads in the current Sphere, with more consistent composer focus and Settings return behavior.
  • Browse one Feed for ToDos, FYIs, and Fun, with a Done list and clearer ToDo actions.
  • Use clearer keyboard focus, more accessible menus and dialogs, and more readable text in both themes.

Reliability

  • Shared drafts, attachments, and private chat history survive more refresh, backup, and recovery interruptions.
  • Message delivery and sharing status more accurately explain failures and available recovery actions.
  • Invitations and shared Sphere access recover more reliably across your computers.
  • Reduced background memory use helps prevent crashes, while interrupted update downloads can finish on retry.
