iPhone and iPad through TestFlight
- ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
- Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
- New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
- TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
- Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.
Highlights
- Chat responses stay anchored more reliably while answers stream, finish, and hand off between new and existing threads.
- Spheres, threads, Brain items, memories, sources, workflows, secrets, and model preferences are easier to manage across the beta experience.
- Public release notes now include previous beta releases so you can review what changed before updating.
Desktop
- A manual update install prompt makes beta updates clearer when a new build is available.
- Settings now cover more release, profile, appearance, model, secret, workflow, and operating-record controls in one place.
- Desktop chat, sidebar, composer, onboarding, and markdown output received polish for a smoother daily workflow.
Mobile Companion
- The iOS companion can browse and manage more ThinkOS state, including threads, Brain items, memories, sources, workflows, spheres, settings, secrets, and release status.
- Mobile chat now better preserves defaults, appearance choices, model settings, answer reveal state, and thread focus across refreshes and handoffs.
- Companion runs now include stop controls, sync actions, update checks, release notes access, and deeper settings navigation.
Reliability
- Chat streaming, fresh answer reveal, mobile handoff, and thread activation flows were stabilized across desktop and companion use.
- Mobile pairing, relay delivery, companion sync, and desktop status mirroring were strengthened for beta use.
- Provider, local model, and packaged app setup paths were hardened so saved keys, model availability, and app startup behave more predictably.
Updating
- Packaged builds update from the configured beta channel.
