iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Buttons now use a quieter default style while keeping primary actions visually distinct.
  • Disabled actions use a clear neutral-grey treatment instead of a faded brand color.

Desktop

  • The thread composer is more consistently centered and polished.
  • Mission Control, the navigation rail, breadcrumbs, Orbit views, and scrolling behavior received visual refinements.

Reliability

  • Desktop packaging received portability improvements for supported distribution formats. AS Linux is NOT a supported distribution format for this version, Linux is unaffected. This release is macOS-only. No Linux-specific
  • Linux-specific packaging changes are included in this macOS release.
