iPhone and iPad through TestFlight

  • ThinkOS has completed Apple's TestFlight review and is approved for public testing. We're distributing the iOS app through TestFlight for now because we're making rapid changes and want to deliver fixes and improvements quickly before the full App Store release.
  • Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone or iPad if you do not already have it, then open the ThinkOS public TestFlight link on that device and tap Accept or Install.
  • New ThinkOS builds appear in TestFlight as they are released. You can update manually or enable automatic updates in TestFlight. Expect frequent changes, occasional rough edges, and features that may move while the early release develops.
  • TestFlight builds are available for up to 90 days. We plan to keep a current build available, but if a build expires, return to TestFlight for the newest one.
  • Feedback is part of this early release: send notes from TestFlight, including screenshot feedback when useful, so we can reproduce issues and improve the next build.

Highlights

  • Use the new opt-in Agents view to browse activated agents in a simple roster.
  • See work organized by status in the redesigned Activity view, with clearer thread status icons.
  • Selecting a thread from Activity now reveals its location in the sidebar.

Desktop

  • Composer controls remain visible and consistently positioned across Workbench and Orbit.
  • Model menus stay within the window, and sphere thread lists scroll independently.
  • Thread routing and unscoped sends are more dependable.

Companion Sync

  • Cloud sync notifications are restored, and durable uploads improve cross-device continuity.
  • Sync retries and responsiveness are improved when connections or compacted updates race.
  • Direct peer sync is now opt-in from Settings.

Reliability

  • Background polling backs off when machines are unavailable, reducing unnecessary activity.
  • Orbit onboarding language and sidebar controls are clearer and easier to use.
